In Sudan the children who live in the cities celebrate their birthday where as in the country they don't. Children will have a cake with candles, they will eaty pizza and drink a punch that is red and is called karkady. This is made from hibiscus flowers.

At their party they are not given toys or clothes as gifts but money instead. After food is served they play games on of these games is called The Sheep and the Hyena.

In Sudan they speak English and Arabic.
